The P place is Pastina. Not to be confused with Patina. Nice neighborhood Italian. Excellent service, friendly owners and wait staff, good solid food. I am not into wine but seems like they have that covered as well. If you are dining early I'm sure they could get you out in time for the show. They are 1 block south of Olympic on the east side of Westwood Blvd. If you are looking for an upscale experience very close to the Schubert try La Cachette on little Santa Monica Blvd. A block or two west of Beverly Glen, I think? A place to go for a major birthday or anniversary celebration.
