A friend of mine took a turkey down to Tasty-Q a few years back. It was very tasty, and they spice it before they fry it.
A caveat: do it anytime but around Thanksgiving. They are so backed up around Thanksgiving that they're frying around the clock, and you're really not assured of it being hot when you pick it up. Of course, I could be wrong and haven't been down there for a few years so the situation may have changed. But if you want to try deep fried turkey, just plan for a party, go to the Tasty-Q with your turkey, they'll weigh it and fry it, and you pick it up.
