Message: | I truly loved the Maryland Crab House on Pico Boulevard. I was born and raised here, but thankfully have family back East. Once they introduced me to blue crab, it was all over. Maryland Crab House was a godsend for me. It wasn't only their crab: the rum buns were astounding. I'm getting teary-eyed just thinking of it. And while I'm at it, I'll mention my mom's favorite restaurant: Patout's. She loved that place. She probably snuck over there about two or three times a month. (You know how it is, cheap husband who wants to tell you how to spend your money. That's why she had to sneak over there.) She still talks about their stuffed shrimp and the crawfish, the latter being so wonderful that she often ordered it for an appetizer and would then order it for dessert! This is all bringing a tear to my eye. I have to stop now. |
