We visited Hua Garden just a few days after Jerome's review. Very impressed. The Sichuan dishes were nicely done, with lots of ma (although, we overhead a few mainlanders from the next table complaining that there wasn't enough chile, which may have been somewhat the case with a couple of the dishes). The "over the bridge" noodles were very good: the ingredients you add into the soup may not have been as plentiful and fresh as I once had in Yunnan, but the soup was very tasty -- a Chinese version of my grandmother's Jewish chicen soup. Those cold dishes Jerome mentions were quite good, and, in fact, more spicy than some of the hot dishes we ordered. A definite find.
