Welcome to the group. If you re-read the messages for La Playita I believe it is the Mixed Seafood Tostada that is the thing to get. I get it every time. The meats have to be gristly, you are only paying a buck a taco and it is loaded with meat. The 30 or so people in line at all hours testify that it is OK with them. Personally, I just stick to the seafood. The sandwich shop you went to sounds like an adventure.
