OK, I accompanied Miss Macy to California Grill and while what she says is true, I was not disappointed. It was buttery (the grilled bread/roll), it was creamy, and it was stuffed with big chunks of lobster. I threw on a few drops of Tabasco sauce and polished it off. Maybe not worth a drive all the way from L.A., but it was worth the adventure on a lunch break!
 
And by the way, while Macy may have not exceeded her gustatory expectations, she certainly put a sizable dent into that lobster roll! Still, I guess I'll be going alone next time.
