Message: | I've been to Ammo probably 3-4 times, and my food got progressively worse with each visit. (Maybe I am the only person who feels this way, judging by my boyfriend's and all of y'all's experiences.) The first and last time I ordered the turkey meatloaf, which was very, very good at first...and soggy, devoid-of-flavor cardboard by the last. I've only been for dinner, and service has been abysmal. For one, my sensibilities are offended when a waiter/ess inquires, "would you like your water bubbly or flat?" (this is a whole 'nother Chowhound thread). But I've endured the lengthiest waits and least attentive service here; mitigated by the decent price, granted. The one bright spot is their tuna tartare. It's served on this nutty, homemade flatbread that rocks my world. Like I said, I've only been for dinner and do mean to try their brunch. Til then my only complaint is with that particular meal. |
