anyone remember this indonesian restaurant on ocean in santa monica? it was called sude mampure (though I'm sure it wasn't spelled that way). I remember my uncle brining my family there when I was a kid. it may have changed my life. the flavors were so exciting. the variety of the rishtafal was wonderful.
since then, I have had a thing for indonesian food. don't think I have found an idonesian restaurant that was as good, though I once came close in san francisco.
