Relaxtation: Was the first of the 3 to open and owned/ran by a young Japanese and Euro couple. Boba drinks are pretty decent, but sometimes they play that euro techo music a little loud. If you eventually buy 11 drinks, you get the 12th one free.
CJ Cafe: Owned/ran by some Hong Kong peeps and is located in that Olympic Gardens plaza. Their "Snow Bubble" is the best drink around. Its like a 7-11 slush but softer and the flavors are really rich. Try mango or strawberry. 9 drinks and you get the 10th one free.
Volcano Tea: Owned/ran by some Taiwanese people. There boba is a little small but they have the air tight containers and their Plum black tea is pretty refreshing. 10 drinks and you get the 11th free.
It might seem odd that there are 3 tea places all within 40 yards of each other but I suppose there is some culinary and ethnic pride as to who actually makes the best drink and they all have their little idiosycracies when hanging out and chilling with a drink. |
