Message: | I recommend this place strongly. It's family run; the "old man," who used to come in at some God-awful hour in the morning and make the pies died a while back, but it's still terrific. Huell Howser found it and recommends the pancakes, missing the pies (a rotating variety, I'm still salivating over the pear pie) entirely. Real down-home food at all hours. It's only open until noonish (I think) on Saturdays, and closed entirely on Sundays. The family has to spend SOME time together. Notice that I set a good example for the rest of you by including an address and phone number. Wasn't that hard to do, in these days of online phone books.
