A museum dedicated to preserving and celebrating the heritage of all four Native communities in Maine: Maliseet, Micmac, Passamaquoddy and Penobscot. It was started by my great-great-grandfather Dr. Robert Abbe in 1928.
It was a originally in a small round building off in the woods somewhere near Bar Harbor, Maine, not big enough to hold everything the museum owned. That's the one i remember visiting when i was little. Now they've built something in the town itself that's open year-round.
