Palm Wiki

A hack for PalmOs?. In any text field, tapping on any WikiName (or anything in [brackets]), links you to the Memo Pad entry of that name. There's a convenient "back" stroke as well (bottom to top to bottom, same as for the | symbol but without the punctuation tap).

This turns your Memo Pad (and editable text in the whole operating system!) into a WikiWiki, but the fact that it extends the linking into all other applications arguably makes Palm the best OS for one-person wikis. Of course it's not networked, but we'll get there. PipPy? is Python on Palm, so all it needs is a web server and there's lots of Python wiki code.
