If you're trying to connect with people, use first person (sentences with "I" in them). If you're trying to help document things or understand something together, use second and third person when possible (like this page). When writing in first person, sign your work.

The server has simple EditingTips. Separate paragraphs with a blank line. You can run capitalized words together to make hyperlinks. Look over TipsForBeginners, especially how to AddNewPages.

Be nice. If you can't be nice, try to say what you want, in general and specifically. Try figuring out what others really want and check it out. Remember that they're human and so are you; we're unpredictably imperfect.
