It's a tool for, among other things writing your own weblog, with multiple Themes (affecting appearance), Mail-to-weblog (heck, SMS-to-weblog), Categories (so your mother doesn't have to listen to your interest in modern heavy metal), but fairly simple to use overall, even though underneath is the power to extend and extend. It also works for reading RssFeeds, with the bonus that you if you like an item you can click "Post" and it prepares an item to post in your weblog with the item you liked already pasted in.

RadioUserland took RssReaders to a new level by pushing that kind of integration. There is other software that facilitates such AutoBlogging (some of it further enhancing Radio), but no blogging tool has the power that the Frontier object database and UserTalk scripting imply. Well, except maybe ZoPe, which i don't know well enough (time to try a Blark or BlogFace? log?). If more people would share their custom goodies and we could standardize on them...

You get most of FronTier's capabilities too (what don't you get?), because that's what it's built on. This is for$40, and includes upgrades and web hosting service for a year (you can tell it to ftp your files to anywhere though). Most of the interface put forward to you is through your web browser (to it's built-in web server -- you can use it off-line).

I'd like to see them develop more interface in the Radio application itself, to take advantage of the speed. Anyway, some good developer links are in my Radio weblog: http://radio.weblogs.com/0101366/ (they're slipping back in time now, but it's almost all Radio-oriented for now anyway).
