You might want to try calling some of the apple orchards, close to Los Angeles in Oak Glen. Maybe they market their cider locally. Or take about a 1 hour, very un-scenic drive out the 10 freeway to Yucaipa, then up into the hills. Lovely orchards and great apples but a bit of a tourist trap, one "farm" where Civil War reinactments take place, gave me the creeps. I am posting a link with some info, Snowline has the best Cider, IMHO
