Three co-workers and I have a lunch group that noshes/dines at places within a reasonable radius of Brentwood (Santa Monica, West LA, Westwood). We could combine our endeavor with some hounders.
 
This week we had Feast from the East (the Chinese Chicken Salad was gamey when I had it 8 years ago, and it still is - take the bottled dressing home and make your own salad).
 
Next week we're going to La Scala Presto (on Mike Kilgore's recommendation 8/17) in Brentwood. Haven't been there so I don't know if it can accomodate a large group.
 
Border Grill sounds fun. The "plateau" table is perfect for a group like this. I'd like to suggest Wed. Sept. 12th for lunch, say, noon?
