Message: | Usually when people are shrinking into the corners after they order, or are very very hesitant to order, or when they are looking at typical drinks (boba nai cha, etc.) with a look they might normally reserve for a large and interesting bug, it indicates a certain level of discomfort. And in fact, the few times I have been to CJ's Cafe, every other white person in there *has* looked a bit uncomfortable. Statements like that usually make me ill as well, but I assure you that it was not hyperbole, and in fact those non-Asians (myself and my fiancee excepted) whom I have seen in CJ's have always looked a bit uncomfortable. Whether that has to do with the menu, or with the hodge-podge of tonal languages being spoken around them at top volume and at machine-gun speed, I couldn't tell you. No need to apologise for your sarcasm. I am well acquainted with sarcasm.
