Jen, I'm sorry that you had a disappointing meal last time there, because I ate dinner at Luk Yue once again just two nights ago and had another fantastic and truly satisfying meal. Their congee is indeed very good and for about $3.50 what more can you ask for. But unlike what the other poster stated, the congee is not the only good thing served there. In fact, they have many dishes which far surpass the congee such as the crackly skin suckling pig, their divine house special hot pot filled with pork, beef and offal, the absolutely orgasmic five offal specialty and their fried dough is also quite good. I could go on and on, but you get the point. In my opinion Luk Yue is one of the best chinese restaurants in town.
