I popped in 360 once while waiting for a concert at the Palladium. It was deserted, and did seem like too much of a scene to be fun or comfortable.
 
Though it's far from hip, if you want a view, you can go to the bar at the top of the Bonaventure in Downtown. It spins around, the staff is friendly, and there are comfortable curved seats for your group.
