Killing a little time here, I reviewed some old posts and meditated on stuff and thought of the following: Soul food at Stevie's on the Strip, Crenshaw & Jefferson, all kinds of good (Cajun) stuff at The Gumbo Pot in the Farmer's Market at 3rd & Fairfax, Thai American burgers at Thai American Express on Rowena in Silverlake, sausage sandwiches at Jody Maroni's in Venice and at LAX, fries at Benita's Fries at Citywalk in Universal City and at Surf Dog/Surf Liquor on Ocean Park Blvd. at Main Street in Santa Monica and burgers and sweet potato fries at Father's Office on Montana & 10th in Santa Monica.
