Are you kidding? Go to Valentino. A restaurant rarely if never becomes one of the top ranked restaurants if it "sucks." I've read more good things about this place than almost anywhere in town.
 
I've dined there just a couple times but I've always enjoyed amazing service and terrific food. My girlfriend who usually "poo-poo's" this kind of place instantly feel in love with it and still tells her friends months and months later about how wonderful the experience was. :)
 
I'm sorry I don't remember specifics to recommend but I'd order what sounds good to you and I'm sure it will be fine. I do remember though having, for her birthday dessert, a very good apple crumb with ice cream.
