I used to stop in for breakfast or lunch occasionally- the food was decent, much better than what's normally available at a drive through, but it was expensive for the portion size.

It was a neat experience, they had a person take your order down at the street level and then you'd drive up and the people up in the kitchen could use the intercom to ask you how your day was going or how many sugars you wanted with your coffee, etc. then the food would be lowered down slowly on a little tray elevator.

For those that aren't familiar with this building it was something about the size of a small mobile home set up above the street on steel stilts- you'd drive under the building to order and pick up the food.

Besides the expense, the food did take a little longer than other "fast food" normally would, because they'd make it to order. So better taste, but I'm not sure everyone who stopped in was willing to wait.
