I tell my guy friends to take their dates here if they want to express "serious interest" because the atmosphere is so lovely and the food is very good. Conversely, don't take anyone there casually, you may get more than you bargained for.
 
My favorite thing here is the Lamb Zinfandel and their minestrone soup (which is not at all what you think it ought to be, it's better!). I really need more occasions to frequent this place myself, sniff sniff.
