It's the same Taix. Before the 60s (I think), they were located Downtown on Commercial Street. In addition to private service (as there is now), they used to serve meals family-style, just as Zora remembers. I wasn't alive back then, but my grandpa was reminiscing about this recently. Our family has been going to Taix for as long as I can remember.
