Do you ever eat at the restaurants in Old World? I've always had ok food there - not great, but satisfies the urge for wurst & schnitzel. Had lunch the other day at the smaller restaurant by the parking lot (something Ecke, I think). Served a good leberkaese. But, why can't the rolls be the same???
 
BTW, my mom is also a real foodie & loved the eats and atmosphere at Knoll's - said a lot of German locals & lots of fun. Hope to get there soon myself.
 
For (almost) real good German food in the States, I think you have to fly to Mader's in Milwaukee!
