The sign at Barney's was "Faggots, stay out". But I read somewhere that it wasn't enforced and most people took it as a joke, including gay people who frequented the place. Everyone, but the sensitives in charge like Jackie Goldberg (don't get me started about her). Now the place where the owner did used to call people "faggots" was The Bucket in Eagle
Rock. And he hit people with a riding whip.
