Going to be there for a few days in a week. any recommnedations? any kind of food, as long as it's delicious? also cheap or expensive doesn't matter? i presuming the Palm Springs area does not have a bounty of Chowhound type places, but hope springs eternal.
 
also, does anyone know what exit off the freeway is the date shake stand (i think it's called Hardee's) that's on the way to the Springs? thanks.
