I'll put in a pitch for Shabu Hachi, instead of Mizu 212. Depends on what you like, of course, but Shabu Hachi (Olympic @ Barrington, in the 7-11 strip mall) is smaller, much quieter, and, IMHO, better. Their beef shabu shabu platter is prime rib now - I think that's new. yummy.
 
Mizu 212 has the trendy atmosphere, so if you like that, go there instead. Personally, a trendy atmosphere like that is a turn off, I like the little quiet places.
