I haven't seen the hanger steaks there but I did buy some pork ribs a while back at Costco that were the most bizarrely cut pieces of meat I've ever seen. They weren't cut using any professional method or knowledge of cow anatomy. They were just kind of - hacked apart. I got them home and looked at them and ended up having to debone them and use them for stew.
 
Their prices are good but they don't have real butchers.
