Yesterday I went to a pho restaurant on Sepulveda, just north of Victory in Van Nuys. It was my first pho experience and it was great! How is pho pronounced? Fo? Po? Fa? What does it actually mean? After lunch we went to an asian market right next door. I was thrilled to see live Maine lobsters for $6.99 per pound. (as opposed to $14.98 per pound at Santa Monica Seafood and Gelsons. I bought 2 two-pounders and cooked them for dinner last night. Spectacular, if I must say so myself.
