I live stone's throw from P n' B and I've only been there a few times. Way over-priced, goopy, greasy, and none of that in a good way. I happen to love the pie at Apple Pan, and the fries, although I think their burger is overpriced, too. In Pasadena, Wolfe Burger is really great.
