Here it goes:
 
1. Backdoor Bakery - for pastries and their Apple Ugly Muffin
2. Cafe Tropical - Espresso con Leche, por favor
3. Zankou Chicken - GARLIC!
3. Casa Bianca - Pizza that I always crave but rarely have a chance to enjoy.
4. Madame Matisse - Best home fries in town, hands down and omelettes made from clouds.
5. Zacharey's, Santa Cruz - Best goddamn home fries in the world.
6. Maria Bonita, Oaxaca, Centro Historico Mex. -Traditional Oaxacan Cuisine. Lived next door to it for a month last year. Ohhhh, I miss their moles.
7. HMS Bounty - for incredibly cheap drinks and Katherine, the waitress that has seen it through decades and has great stories.
8. Jose's (or was it Juan's) in Encinitas - For their rip-your-head-off-spicy Sopa Azteca.
9. Trader Joes - Does that count?
10. Ashland Bread Bakery, So. Oregon - Incredible Artisian breads
