Message: | I've been to La Creperie in Belmont Shore and most of the Farmer's Markets have the Crepe seller, too (at least he's in Torrance). Here's the rub -- the FRENCH owner of the Farmer's Market stand used to do all the work himself and the Crepes were fabulous. Now he has trained High School girls to run the stand and they are wanting in quality. Safe if you order something that doesn't have an egg -- it always seems like the egg is never cooked and they inevitably leave out an ingredient. I used to congratulate this guy because his crepes were so much better than the one in Belmont shore. Now, maybe, I'll have to go back and try their's again. The odd thing about the one in Belmont Shore is that they are also heavily promoting Nutello and most of their sweet crepes have Nutello in it. Not bad, just odd. |
