I've been going to Oki dogs for years! The original on Melrose was the best. Quite a surreal scene: All those plants, raw fries soaking in buckets of water (why?) and drunk punks and every variety of freak West Hollywood had to offer.
Anyway, the place has a history. That's why I still go to the "new" location on Fairfax and eat those bizarre burritos. You gotta love the "B" grade from the health department. Sewage backup? Vermin Infestation? Maybe just roaches. Fuck it! OkiDog Rules!
