I would be very surprised if the quality of Captain Jacks has diminished. It has been a classic place for many years. By the way, if you plan to go across PCH to the beach, know it closes at 10 PM and the sheriff will kick you off if they see you taking a romantic stroll while they are patrolling. bummer.
