An informal meeting of strategizing and leadership information

At this meeting we will accomplish the following:

  • A mission and vision statement as an official document of existence
  • Leadership positions with discussion of guidelines and terms
  • Create outreach ideas with materials to follow
  • Discuss actions at UM events, including WOW 2003, a formal conference gathering at Convocation 2003, and General Conference 2004.
  • Fundraising goals and materials

If you are interested in attending this gathering, please read additional information on the MoSAIC site. Choose "Meeting."

Clergy Alliance April Meeting Info

The Clergy Alliance will hold a meeting for all members in Chicago, April 16-17, 2002. In the course of the gathering in Chicago, members will work in one of the four C.A. pods: Reform, Radical Obedience, Theology, and Church Within a Church. There will also be time for renewal through worship and prayer.

The Clergy Alliance is comprised of persons called to ordained ministry (including seminarians and those called to ordained ministry but unable to serve because of sexual orientation restrictions) within The United Methodist Church who summon the church to a deeper level of spiritual and theological integrity in relationship to persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities and their full inclusion in all aspects of the church's life.

The network is dedicated to active forms of teaching, organizing, strategizing, resistance, and support for one another to help the church become more faithful to the radical love of Christ.
