		Dennis Akazawa (Deceased Jan, 1989) In 1980 Dennis became a founding member of Asian/Pacific Lesbians and Gays (A/PLG). In 1985 Dennis joined GARP and quickly became an outspoken and involved member, facilitating raps, hosting fundraisers and greeting new members. 		Noel Alumit (Updated Mar, 2002) Noel Alumit has been a GAPSN member for many years. Also, for the past nine years, Noel has worked for the Asian Pacific AIDS Intervention Team working to improve the lives of gay Asian men. Noel Alumit was born in the Philippines and earned his Bachelor degree of Fine Arts in Drama from the University of Southern California and studied playwriting at the David Henry Hwang Writers Institute at East West Players. 		Chi-Wai Au (Updated Jan, 2000) Chi-Wai recently returned to Los Angeles after completing his MFA in Poetry at the University of Oregon. He currently works as a Prevention Specialist at the Asian Pacific AIDS Intervention Team and serves as a member of Los Angelese County's HIV Prevention Planning Committee. GAPSN Board

		Pei-Chi Chang (Updated Jan, 2000) Pei-Chi Chang is currently working at the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center as a Public Policy Assistant focusing against the Knight Initiative, the anti-gay and lesbian marriage due on the CA ballot in March 2000. Pei received his dual undergraduate B.A.s in Psychology and Sociology at UCLA and his dual graduate M.A.s in Public Policy and Urban Planning at Harvard University John F. 		Cirilo Domine (Updated Jan, 2000) Cirilo Domine is an arts programmer at The Gay & Lesbian Center's Advocate Gallery in the Village at Ed Gould Plaza. He is an artist/curator who has participated in numerous group and individual exhibitions. 		Gordon Tetsuo Hara (Updated Jan, 2000) Currently works as an electrical engineer, designing and testing accessories for the telecommunication industry. Gordon is a fourth-generation Japanese American, Yonsei, born and raised in the LA area. What I have gained from the support of GAPSN is that you are not alone. 		Alex Hoa (Updated Apr, 2002) After attending GAPSN Lunar Celebration in 1992, Alex Hoa had the pleasure and the privilege to serve on the board as social chair. Until 1996, he had hold various board positions and worked in different committees. He was a recipient for 1995 GAPSN Angel Award. 		David Hong (Updated June, 2000) David Hong is a second generation Chinese American, born and raised in the Midwest. He has been active with GAPSN from the very beginning when the group was formerly known as GARP and is a GAPSN Co-Founding member and continues to be active in the gay API community on his own. 		Oscar Hur (Updated July, 2002) Oscar has relocated to Sunnyvale, in South San Francisco Bay Area. (Updated Mar, 2002) Oscar Hur is GAPSN's first and only webmaster, having served in that capacity since the last millenium (Dec 1999 to be exact). 		Jeff Kim (Updated Jan, 2000) Jeffrey Kim is Deputy Director of the Legal Services Department of L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and has been a staff member of the Gay & Lesbian Center's Legal Services Department since 1992, and currently manages the Anti-Violence Project and Immigration Law Project. Jeff has been a member of GAPSN since 1992. In 1993, he was appointed political action coordinator; in 1994, he was elected co-chair; and in 1995, he served as membership coordinator. More... 		Henry Lo (Updated Jan, 2000) Henry currently is a Field Representative at Assembly Majority Whip Gloria Romero's District Office in Los Angeles. The 49th Assembly District includes portions of Los Angeles and the West San Gabriel Valley, where many of GAPSN's members reside. As GAPSN's Political Affairs Coordinator, Henry is looking forward to serving GAPSN in a politically important year to the gay community. Henry is a resident of Los Angeles. GAPSN Board
		Michael Lou (Updated Feb, 2002) Born in Formosa, in Chinese New Year of the Ox (1973), Michael Lou grew up in the Silverlake/Los Feliz area since 1985. He is currently residing in Hollywood Hills. 		Patrick Mangto (Updated Jan, 2000) Patrick works for the LA Gay & Lesbian Center's Youth Services as a program coordinator for HOPWA. He is the incoming Political Affairs Chair for Trikone-LA, helped form Queer Awaaz, and has been involved with South Asian Network. 		Myron Quon (Updated Jan, 2000) Myron is a Staff Attorney for Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc., fighting sexual-orientation and HIV/AIDS discrimination. Myron has been the Managing Attorney of the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County. Myron is Chair of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association's Civil Rights Committee, Vice-Chair of the California Bar's Ethnic Minority Relations Committee, and Co-Chair of the LGBT Committee of the Asian Pacific Policy & Planning Council. 		Tani (Updated Jan, 2000) Tani was born in Singapore. Tani was sent to Australia to finish high school and then to study at Sydney University. He quickly began ballet lessons, on scholarships with Anna-Ruth Turner and voice lessons with Sir Harold Williams at the N.S.W. Conservatorium of Music. Tani then moved to New York where he first formed his own dance company. He returned to California to enter the Master's program in Dance at UCLA. GAPSN Board
		Andre Ting (Updated Mar, 2002) Andre Ting has been a community leader for over 20 years. In 1980, he was a founding member of Asian Pacific Lesbians and Gays, the first Asian gay organization in California. In l990, he became a board member of Que Viva! (VIVA), a gay Latino performing artists group. He belongs to GLADE, a gay staff organization in a large California community college district. 		Eric Wat (Updated March, 2000) Eric C Wat is a Hong Kong native, transplanted to Los Angeles in 1982. He wrote an oral history of the gay Asian community in Los Angeles before the 1980s for his M.A. in American Studies, which he received in 1999 from CSU Fullerton. Currently, he lives in Silverlake. 		John Wirfs (Updated June, 2000) John has been recently appointed to chair the design and implementation of programs aimed at fostering queer API youth involvement with GAPSN. John is a recent graduate from the University of Southern California's School of Architecture and has high hopes for his position with GAPSN and putting new meaning into the word 'design.' More...
