Jury Awards $610,000 to Ex-HBO Exec
A federal jury awarded $610,000 to a former HBO executive who organized the cable network's boxing coverage, saying he was maliciously libeled by a boxing champion he advised.

Jury: Boxer Must Pay Ex-HBO Exec.
Middleweight champion Bernard Hopkins must pay a former adviser $610,000 for libeling him by claiming he arranged fights while working for a cable network.

GPS technology tested to enhance handicapping
Racing's future came by satellite to Keeneland last week and looked like -- NASCAR? You bet. The lead horse careened at 35.6 mph around the "fourth" turn. Three horses rounded a virtual Keeneland course as dots on laptop screens, individually timed and separated by the right amount of lengths.

Meadowlands issues apology to patrons
