Giving thanks to readers who give back
Thanksgiving Day is really too short to give thanks and Thanksgiving weekend is too long to just shop. Tod Hill, a San Francisco resident, had a great idea last year: Instead of shopping, turn the day after Thanksgiving into -- a phrase he coined -- ``Giving Day.''
