Texts' weight spurs calls for extra sets
As if the rising costs of individual texts weren't enough of a problem, school districts are confronting another factor that inflates their overall investment in books: the weight. Books have become so heavy that some schools are buying separate sets to leave in classrooms so students don't have to lug them from home.
