Campus Community
The Southwest College campus culture is easy to sense, yet difficult to describe in words. Southwest College is a place for meaningful discovery, academic challenge, real-life experience and lasting friendships.
Southwest College has drawn students with an astonishing breadth of experiences, interests and backgrounds. Our last incoming class of 63 students hailed from no fewer than 55 different colleges, 40 different states and 5 different countries. Besides excellent academic credentials, they also bring various backgrounds including nursing, medicine, environmental science, theater, history and engineering, just to name a few.
Once you become a part of our community, your life will never be the same.
I am really charmed by SCNM sense of family and support. This is an intense and demanding program, but as a student you aren't faced with the same competitive mentality that drowns other medical campuses. Ave Sims, SCNM Student

The campus is set on 15 Acres in the college town of Tempe, Arizona, home to Arizona State University. Campus grounds offer students beautiful and tranquil outdoor spaces to study, relax and play, all of course in the generously sunny and warm climate of Arizona.
If you look at the desert southwest with your heart, you will be shocked to see the fragile beauty and diversity the desert offers. The diversity of culture that people have brought with them to Arizona has also made the southwest a new world for those seeking healing, self discovery, nature and joy. Yolanda Rodriguez, Current Student
