Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate one individual to serve as a Member of his administration:

The President intends to nominate Heather M. Hodges of Ohio, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Moldova. A career member of the Senior Foreign Service, Ms. Hodges currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Madrid, Spain. Prior overseas assignments include time as Deputy Chief of Mission in Lima, Peru, and in Managua, Nicaragua. She also previously served in Guatemala and Caracas. She is a graduate of the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, Minnesota, and earned her master's degree from New York University.
