Medals for winners( Gold, Silver, Copper) 
The Front of Medal: Eight carvings express the top view of the Korean traditional octagonal building, Palgagjeong. The burning sun in the middle of the medals is the symbol of the OCA, and around it 34 rings, means 34countries, the founding members of the OCA, showing the solidarity of membership and eternity of OCA. 
The Rear of Medal: The Busan Asia Games Flame, Emblem, and Oryukdo as a symbol of Busan, are carved harmoniously, expressing that, Busan holds BAG and youth, unity, and friendship of the Athletes. 




 

Medals for all the attending athletes
The Front of Medal: The OCA Emblem is in the center of the medal, surrounding it burning fire of the Games spreads out, to express the Asians' spirit of expending towards the world. 
The Rear of Medal: The scenery of Oryukdo and the Busan Sea is realistically expressed on the BAGOC Emblem, and is located in the middle, which represents the image of the venue city, Busan.
