The South Florida Palm Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Fairchild Tropical Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Rd., Coral Gables.

Expert will diagnose `paph problems'

The Orchid Society of Coral Gables will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fairchild Tropical Garden.

Ernie Barham, paphiopedilum grower extraordinaire, will discuss ''Diagnosing Paph Problems'' and give advice on attendees' sick plants.
