Q. My father is deceased, and I was recently looking through an old photograph album of his military service during World War II. Between two blank album pages, I found an 8 X 10, black pencil drawing of Li'l Abner signed by Al Capp. How can I find out if the drawing has any value and if there is a market for it?

Q. Is there a place in Miami where one can copyright lyrics and music? If so, what is the process and how much does it cost? A. Copyrights can be registered with the Copyright Office at the Library of Congress, but because a work is considered copyrighted the moment it is created, registration is not necessary.

Q. I just received a phone call from National Energy Conservation, saying that they are conducting an audit of unusually high FPL bills in my area (South Miami-Dade). They asked questions about the number of people living here, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, whether we have central air, seniors living here and the amount of the last bill. She then tried to make an appointment for someone to come check out the situation and tried to pin me down to a date. Is this legitimate?
