How do I edit an existing quiz?
Go to your quiz list, either via the "Manage your Quizzes" link in the sidebar or the "Your Quizzes" link in the upper navibar. From there, click on the quiz you want to edit. You'll be given a detail page for that quiz, and from there you click the "load quiz into editor" button to begin editing your quiz.
Follow the previous instructions to get to your quiz list and click the quiz you want to delete. From the next page, the quiz detail page, click the "delete" button to delete your quiz.
How do I activate/deactivate a quiz?
Go to the quiz detail page of the particular quiz (via your quiz list) and select either the "active" or "inactive" option button and then click the the "Make Changes" button.
How do I give a link to all results?
Go to the quiz detail page of the particular quiz (via your quiz list) and under the "Give link to all results" heading select the "Yes" option button, then click the "make changes" button.
It says my quiz has been taken XYZ times; what does that mean?
That means that quiz has been loaded up that many times; that it has that many "hits".
It says my quiz has an average rating of XYZ; what does that mean?
When someone finished taking your quiz, they have the option to "vote" on it, to tell you how good they thought it was. The number shown is the average rating each voting user has given your quiz (and the number of people who have voted on it total).
One of my quizzes has been locked by an administrator; what does that mean?
Usually a reason will be given with the message. Most often it is because of content that violates Quizilla's usage policy. When a quiz is locked you cannot alter or edit it and no one can take it until the lock is removed by an administrator.

Go to your image list, and from there click the "browse" button at the top to select the image you wish to upload, then click "upload image". Your image is now on Quizilla's server!
From your image list click on the image you want to delete and then from the next screen, the "image detail" screen, click the "delete" button.

You sure you didn't?
Okay, if you're sure you didn't touch it, check to see if it's been changed to any of the following:
: Image has been suspended because it is violation of acceptable content guidelines
: Image has been suspended because it is in violation of copyright guidelines
How do I redefine images and why is it important?
If you ever want to change an image that is already in use in one of your quizzes you need to redefine it instead so it doesn't break a bunch of peoples' Journals.
To do this go to your image list and select the image you want to change. Below the image preview is a "browse" button. Click that to choose the image you want to use to replace the one currently there and then click the "upload image" button. That image you just chose will now replace the image that was where before.
One of my images has been suspended; what does that mean and how do I fix it?
Images are usually suspended because of copyright violations or because of inappropriate content. To remedy this you must "redefine" that image to replace the "suspended" message (see above to learn how to do it).
Your Quiz Picks list is a list of quizzes you select for whatever reason.
Anything you want -- a bookmark list, personal favorites list or whatever. It's just a list, and whatever that list means to you is up to you!
Where is my list and how do I see it?
Your Picks list is on the bottom of your Account details page. If you haven't added any picks, you won't have a list there until you do.
How do I add quizzes to my Picks list?
On the "results" page of a quiz, if you're logged in, you'll see a link that says "add this to your Picks list". Click it and you'll add a link to that quiz to your Pick list.
How do I remove Picks from my list?
On your Picks list, on the bottom of your Account Details page, you'll see your list with a check-box my every entry. To delete one or more, check the box and click the "delete selected picks" button.
Can I see other peoples' Picks?
Yup. If a user has chosen to add picks to their list you can follow the "picks" link off of their home page.
What is the "Most Popular Quizzes" list and how do I get one of my quizzes on it?
The Most Popular list is a list of quizzes that have been taken the most in the last day. The more times a quiz has been taken in the last 24 hours, the higher on that list it will be. If a quiz hasn't had enough "hits" to make the bottom of the list it won't show up.
My quiz has XYZ number of hits total and it's still not on the "Most Popular" list; why?
Because the number of hits that is required to get on the Most Popular list is calculated in a 24 hour period, not total. If the very last quiz on the most poplar list has a "1124" beside it it means that quiz has been taken 1124 times in the last 24 hours, not total. Your quiz needs to be taken that many times in one day to qualify for the list.
What is the "Recently Added" list and how do I get one of my quizzes on it?
The "Recent" list is a list of the last XX created quizzes on the system, based on the time they were first created. It is generated about once per hour because it is a huge strain on the database. Quizzes will automatically be added to the queue to get placed on the list when they are created.
What is the "Index" and how does it work?
The Quiz Index is a listing of all the currently active quizzes stored in the system, along with the author who created them. The Index is organized alphabetically. You can move through pages of the index using the "Forward" and "Back" links.
I just made a quiz and it hasn't appeared in the Index! What gives?
Creating the Index is a huge strain on the database, so the list that the Index works from is only updated once per night. This is the same for the "Search" system.
