Explanation of Quizilla Content Rating System The Quizilla Content Rating System Methodology is based loosely on the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) Website Rating System, with modifications for the specifics of Quizilla Content and is designed only to be a general guideline as the content of quizzes, not a specific yardstick.
Although quality is one of our main concerns, Content on Quizilla is not always rated accurately. Since Quizilla is a community system where users can create their own content and assign ratings they deem appropriate, ratings may not always be accurate until such time as they are evaluated by an administrator.
Users are allowed and recommended to assign content rating to content they create. However, if this rating is found to be inaccurate by the Administrators or Managers of Quizilla, they are warranted to set the ratings to settings they believe to be correct, overriding the rating the user has given it.
Be default, users accessing quizzes with a rating of (M)ature or (A)dult are given prompt before taking the quiz to alert them of possible content that may not be appreciated or appropriate. This warning is configurable on a user-to-user basis, but is turned on by default and is enabled for users who are not logged in.
If a user finds a quiz with a rating that is not in agreeance with it's content, they are welcome and encouraged to contact the system administrators to have the rating reviewed. If a user creates a quiz which is given an administrative rating they do not agree with, they are welcome to contact the site administrators to discuss the rating that has been given to their content.
Content that contravenes the Usage Policy of the site will be removed as the sole discretion of the Site's administrators.
The content rating system is as follows:
E - Everyone, the quiz contains nothing that can be found to be reasonably offensive or inappropriate to any given audience.
T - Teen, the quiz contains content that is possibly unsuitable for those under 13 years of age. Parents or guardians are asked to evaluate it before allowing access by their children.
Y - Young Adult, the quiz contains content that is possibly unsuitable for those under 18 years of age. Parents or guardians are asked to evaluate it before allowing access by their children.
M - Mature, the quiz contains content that is unsuitable for those under 18 years of age. Content is considered offensive for minors.
A - Adult, the quiz contains content that is unsuitable for those under 18 years of age. Content may also offend personal tastes or views of adults and caution is recommended for everyone.
Certain content is not allowed, regardless of assigned ratings.
