Lady Lions put home win streak on the line today against No. 2 Texas
The Penn State women's basketball team has had it's mojo working at the Bryce Jordan Center for parts of the last three seasons. That mojo, in the form of a 21-game home winning streak, will get the ultimate test today as the No. 8 Lady Lions (4-1) play host to No. 2 Texas (7-0) at 2 p.m.
Penn State digest: Fencers fall to Notre Dame
The Penn State men's and women's fencing teams both suffered 14-13 losses to defending national champion Notre Dame a the season-opening dual meet Saturday at the White Building.

Furyk sails to PGA Grand Slam win Jim Furyk carded a 4-under-par 68 to win the PGA Grand Slam by eight strokes Saturday over Mike Weir. U.S. Open champion Furyk pocketed $400,000 of a $1 million purse and snapped Tiger Woods' record string of five straight victories in the exclusive 36-hole event for the winners of this year's four majors. Furyk wound up 9 under on the 7,081-yard Poipu Bay course.
