In a DX2 related story: News comes from TTLG that Eidos has released editing tools for Thief 3. Download links, including a torrent, can be found here. Here's a screenshot just for good measure.

Could there yet be hope for a DX2 editor? Both games use the same engine...

UNATCO Born has updated their website with 8 new screenshots, all looking very good. If you look closely you can see a strangely familiar HUD...
Also they have put up music clips for your listening pleasure. There is a clip for almost every level in the game. Check it out!

...Ion Storm, the developer of the Thief and Deus Ex series, may be closing its doors. Warren Spector, the company's lead man, left the house back in November, but the fate of the team there has been up in the air. If true, it will be a great loss to the gaming community. Deus Ex 2 wasn't the hit they were hoping it would be, but the quality of their titles has been exceptional from the beginning.

News comes from Despot, PlanetDeusEx's Site Coordinator, that the oldest DeusEx fan site (est. 1998 as Deus Ex Incarnate) is being archived by GameSpy and becoming inactive. No news will be posted on the front page after November 30th.

All site content, including game information, hosted sites, and forums, will remain unaffected.

It is possible that the site will be "re-activated", as it were, if Deus Ex 3 becomes a reality.
