Margaret Cho
Comedian and former All American Girl Margaret Cho joins us fresh from speaking at the Millennium March to serve as this year's celebrity Grand Marshall for Pride 2000. After growing up in San Francisco, local girl Margaret Cho won the American Comedy Award for Female Comedian in 1994, and has appeared on Leno, Letterman, Rosie, Regis and Politically Incorrect. You can see her in such film as Face/Off, It's My Party, The Doom Generation, Ground Control, Spent, Fakin' Da Funk, and Rugrats. Don't forget to see her new movie -- I'm the One that I Want -- based on her hit Off Broadway show.








Coco Lee
This international pop sensation sings from her new album just no other way and the hit song Do You Want My Love. With 7 million albums sold, CoCo supplied the voice for the lead character in the Mandarin version of Mulan and her ballad Before I Fall In Love is featured on the Runaway Bride soundtrack.

These four talented Filipinas, Epic Voices will perform from their debut album Feels So Good.

Linda Low
Freestyle artist Linda Low sings her top selling single Dancing In My Heart.

Matt Yee
Award winning cabaret star, songwriter, pianist and comedian Matt Yee will perform a number from his Love and Liberace Show currently at Piaf's.

See Jazmine, Rice a Roni, Minute and Long Grain Rice -- Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center's Ambassasors of HIV Prevention and Education -- the fourth generation of the Rice Girls whip you up into a safe sex frenzy.











Tita Aida
A&PIWC;'s very own Tita Aida (Nikki Calma) served as the Asian & Pacific Islander Stage's emcee. Nikki, who serves on the San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Celebration Committee's Board of Directors, emcees and produces dozens of community events each year for A&PIWC; including the Star Search Karaoke, Putt' On the Lips and Go Boy Go! contests. With the hottest DJ's spinning -- FeelUSA and Lambchop (N'Touch / NRG), Shawn Perry, Jack Roho, DJ Maxi and Amanda.

Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center will be conducting HIV/STD testing at its booth next to the Asian & Pacific Islander PRIDE Stage. Stop by, get information, get tested, have fun.

Also speaking from the stage will be Yen Nguyen from the Southeast Asian Community Center, Miss GAPA Holly Peno, Astyle.com's Edward Huang, Ray Hobbs from Gay.com's HIV Life Channel, Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation's Robert Sokol and A&PIWC; Board Secretary Ray Shanahi. With a special tribute to the creator of the Queer Asian & Pacific Islander Pride Scholarship Edward Cheng Ming Tang for this commitment to Queer youth.
